When it comes to machine learning, what's the difference between supervised and unsupervised?

in General Discussions

Training labelled data is needed for supervised learning. To do classification (a supervised learning task), for example, you must first mark the data that will be used to train the model to classify data into your labelled classes. Unsupervised learning, on the other hand, does not necessitate clear data marking.
